Check out this video for help on installing your WAVEPRO boat seat pedestal
This video demonstrates how to install the heavy duty pro slider on your WAVEPRO boat seat pedestal

Ideally, you should set-up your WAVEPRO boat seat pedestal with 1 - 1 1/2 inches of sag or set-in when the rider is sitting on the WAVEPRO. Use the O-ring on the pedestal neck as a guide.
Once you have adjusted the air pressure for the recommended sag or set-in and you find that the ride might be a little firm, simply let out 1 or 2 PSI of air pressure. Likewise, if it is too soft, increase the air pressure by 1 or 2 PSI.
NOTE: Air chamber pressures are sensitive to the ambient. Air pressure may vary by a couple of PSI on a 30° Fahrenheit or 17° Celsius temperature swing. Refer to the above chart to determine your PSI. Keep in mind this is only a guide. Ride at the PSI most comfortable to you.

A properly setup WAVEPRO boat seat pedestal will compress 1 to 1.5 inches when boater is seated.
So, the general rule is to measure the distance from the floor of your boat to the bottom of your seat
and add 1 to 1.5 inches.
However, the size WAVEPRO to order is dependent on the base and seat adapter and pedestal options selected.
Example: If the bottom of your current seat is 13" off the floor, you will want to order a WAVEPRO with a base and seat adapter that has a combined length of 14 - 14.5 inches.
Click below for length details.
We offer a full two-year warranty.
WAVEPRO pedestals are compatible with most Springfield sliders. Your WAVEPRO will come with two small screws on the top plate that will lock into the slider track.
Our boat pedestal lengths are not considered adjustable. You can lower the height before you ride by decreasing the PSI or raise your height by increasing the PSI. However, there is no lever to adjust the height. Adjusting PSI while riding is not recommended.
Most definitely. Not many mechanical skills are needed. As long as you have the circular six-bolt pattern, its simple and should only take 5-10 minutes. There is an installation video on our installation page of the website.
Also, if you decide to purchase a lock after you've already purchased your pedestal, installing the locks are quite simple as well.
